Dancing in the storm.

You know those storms? When the rain is pouring down from the dark, grey sky. The wind breaks the strongest trees and you're sitting there, in the corner of your room trying to believe that you are safe. You have heard about the accident in the news, how strong the wind is, how many people lost their houses. You have heard it, you have seen it. None of it seems real. You are in your room, waiting for the storm too pass but at some point it seems like it will never stop, and the sun will stay behind the clouds forever.

Sometimes we have those storms in our life. They just happen. Some have reasons, some don't. Suddenly the world is grey, wind breaks our windows and you hide from the world in the deepest corners of our soul. And you stay there waiting for it to pass, for the first rays of sunshine, for singing birds. you wait, and wait, and wait... and suddenly, when you are laying in your bed in the middle of the night and it hits you. The storm will never end.

If you ever get this scary thought don't ever believe in it. Probably there is some kind of scientific proof that it is the message from your panicking heart and the brain will take care of it soon. And even though, most of the times you should listen to your heart it's not one of those times. One day you will realize that you are not scared anymore. The rain is pouring, wind is blowing but you are ready. You have grown stronger and you realize that you don't want to waist even one more day.

Maybe that's what life is all about. Going out despite the storm, when others stay at home. Maybe it's about wearing a purple, flowy dress when everyone is wearing black. They will stare at you and maybe at some point there will think you crazy. But deep inside they wish they worn purple dress too.

Słyszałaś to, widziałaś to.

Może chodzi o to by ubrać zwiewną, fioletową sukienkę gdy inni noszą czerń.

  2. What nicer and post at once successful. I like the metaphor you use with the storm and daily life. The life that resembles many of us, and we thought we give meaning to our lives. Also you play the purple and black colors, I liked it because the black color symbolizes sadness, the rare, the negative, however the color purple so cheerful, nice, and some light to make sense of our lived. I love the dress and the post!! Congratulations.
